The Dobcross to Ashton section of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal reopened after more than 50 years on Monday 9th April. There will be an official opening ceremony on Friday 18th May 2001 and the Pennine Moonraker will be playing a major role. See the Current News section for more information about this and additional information about the opening of the full length of the canal in May 2001. Our new season has started.
